Apostel Paulus Church in Berlin:
On the way to climate neutrality with CHP from A-TRON

In a remarkable step towards climate neutrality, the Apostel-Paulus Church in Berlin, the second largest church in the city, has undergone a significant transformation. Under its historic roof now lies a technological innovation – a combined heat and power plant (CHP) from A-TRON.

This project is a shining example of how modern technologies can be integrated into existing structures to achieve ecological efficiency without compromising the character and aesthetics of the historic building. By installing our CHP, the church is now largely heated by energy generation from waste materials, which represents a significant step towards a climate-friendly future.

The decision to use a CHP from A-TRON was made due to its ability to integrate into existing building structures without requiring extensive reconstruction. This project not only illustrates our ability to provide tailor-made solutions to complex challenges, but also underlines the potential of CHP in the urban energy transition.
