Further advantages of our A-TRON CHP

Low noise

Our systems are certified according to DIN 45635-01-KL2 and are therefore very quiet. The noise emissions are < 50 db(A) and are roughly the same as the volume of a dishwasher or washing machine.

Economic modulation range

The modulation range for individual systems extends from 100% (20 kWel) to 25% (5 kWel) and is automatically regulated according to your individual heat requirements. With the highly intelligent cascade control, the modulation range can be extended by up to 6.25%.

High
efficiencies

Our CHP units achieve very high electrical efficiencies of up to 33.3% in full load operation (confirmed by TÜV).

Maintenance-friendly compact system

The machine set with motor and generator, together with the heat components and the control system, forms a closed unit that roughly corresponds to the dimensions of a Euro pallet. L x W x H: 1300 mm x 800 mm x 1300 mm

Industrial gas engine

Use of an industrial gas engine specially optimized for A-TRON with automatic knock control and its own engine control management.

Durable generator shaft

Long life double bearing of the generator shaft with integrated relubrication.

Sustainable

Our CHP units have a highly sensitive mixture control for sustainable consumption reduction.

Fully automatic oil change function

A-TRON CHP units are each equipped with an integrated fresh oil and used oil tank. The systems carry out a fully automatic oil change every 2000 operating hours. This means that the engine is always optimally lubricated and downtimes are reduced.

Free of natural vibration

The machine set with motor and generator is mounted vibration-free on optimized spring struts. This prevents vibrations.

All-round service

Our service ensures that your system remains functional at all times through regular maintenance. Benefit from one of our maintenance agreements - this is not only convenient for you, you are also well protected.

High
temperature ranges

Flow and return temperatures can be regulated individually. Flow temperatures of up to 95 degrees Celsius and return temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius are possible. The systems have a speed-controlled pump.

Fully equipped in series

A-TRON CHP units are produced ready for connection. Also integrated are condensing exchangers, vibration dampening couplings, exhaust silencers, calibrated electricity meters, communication modules, and much more - all with a premium feel. This means no hidden additional costs that could surprise you.
Further advantages

Resilience

All components of our systems that come into contact with exhaust gases are mechanically and thermally extremely resilient thanks to the use of certified materials with excellent resistance to chemicals and maritime atmospheres (seawater). The flexible connections are silicone-coated.

Soft start

Due to the integrated three-phase soft starter with a starting current <60A (TAB; BDEW), our systems have a motor-friendly soft start.

Cascade control

Our systems are equipped as standard with a highly intelligent cascade control system with a master and slave system to optimize efficiency and reduce costs – e.g. modulation from 5 kWel to 60 kWel in a 3-way cascade.

Heat and vibration proof

Heat and vibration-proof networking of the individual components using cable harnesses in the automotive standard (MIL, UL, CSA, DIN, EN, EIA – TIA).

Automatic
analysis

The heating system's demand curve is analyzed fully automatically. The hysteresis (characteristic curve) is adjusted automatically. Both are integrated as standard.

Individual visualization of the display

We offer you customer-friendly and individual visualization solutions. We can set up the display overview for PC, tablet or smartphone for you.

NA protection

Our systems are equipped with NA protection in accordance with VDE-AR 4105 as standard and are currently certified (unit certificate).

Full-fledged
building technology

Fully-fledged building management technology (BMS) for medium to large buildings is already included in the basic equipment.

Performance and exhaust gas optimization

Communication takes place entirely via engine electronics for performance and exhaust gas optimization, based on CANBus.

Secure

Our CHP units offer optimum operational reliability thanks to the integrated double valve technology in the gas control system.
