Dear A-TRON friends,

Today, my team and I can look back on a company history spanning almost 15 years. From the very beginning, our vision was to develop and implement innovative technologies to meet the ever-growing demand for efficient energy generation while protecting the environment. I therefore still believe that a combined heat and power plant (CHP), alongside all other options, is the most efficient and economical form of energy generation.

Our experience and expertise have enabled us to offer tailor-made solutions that are tailored to the specific requirements of our customers. At A-TRON, we rely on the latest technologies and a holistic approach that not only aims at the efficiency of energy generation, but also at reducing emissions.

As managing director of this company, it is a particular pleasure for me to present our latest developments to you today. We have worked intensively on the further development of our products in recent years and can now proudly present a series of innovations that not only increase the efficiency of our systems, but also open up new possibilities for the integration of renewable energies.

On January 24, 2024, the ECJ overturned the relevance of CHP funding under state aid law. This ruling should have a positive effect on the German funding of highly efficient CHP plants.

The full tax relief pursuant to Section 53a VI of the Energy Tax Act for the fuel used in CHP plants expired on December 31, 2023. However, it is still possible to apply for partial tax relief pursuant to Section 53a I to V of the Energy Tax Act, which is only reduced by 10% to 20% for natural gas-powered CHP plants. Applications for 2023 must be submitted to the responsible main customs office by December 31, 2024 at the latest. We would be happy to support you with this.

Our Helios product range offers the right solution for every requirement. From large building complexes to smaller units. The Helios models are specially designed to ensure an optimal balance between performance and efficiency.

Helios 50: The powerhouse for comprehensive requirements

With an overall efficiency of up to 106.2%, the Helios 50 sets standards in energy efficiency. Equipped with a powerful motor, it delivers a thermal output of up to 109.5 kW and an electrical output of 10 to 50 kW. This variant is ideal for larger buildings and building complexes where there are extensive energy requirements.

Helios 25: The flexible center for versatile applications

The Helios 25 boasts an overall efficiency of up to 105.9% and offers an electrical output of 5 to 25 kW and a thermal output of up to 55 kW. Its compact design and efficient power output make it the ideal choice for small to medium-sized buildings that require a reliable and efficient energy supply.

Helios 20: Compact and efficient for lower energy requirements

The smallest variant of our series, the Helios 20, achieves an impressive overall efficiency of up to 107.7%. It offers an electrical output of 5 to 20 kW and a thermal output of up to 48 kW. Thanks to its compact size and high efficiency, the Helios 20 is particularly suitable for smaller buildings with moderate energy requirements.

Each model in our Helios series is tailored to the specific needs of facilities of different sizes. Whether you need a comprehensive energy concept for a building complex or are looking for an efficient solution for smaller spaces – with the Helios CHP units from A-TRON you are guaranteed to find the right option.
